Hey thanks for the response. but i turned it off and on again, and i updated it to the latest software yesterday, But the Gps simulator is still on, and im not able to turn it off, maybe it’s a glitch with this unit
If you turn your unit Off then On again it will go back into normal GPS mode.
I would recommend trying an update using the free Garmin program “Webupdater”. It will put the latest firmware in your unit. Do this often. It will add new features and fix any known issues.

I jus purchased the Garmin Nuvi 1300 and for some reason i’m not able to turn off the Gps Simulator , Whenever i go into tools and choose to turn it off, it just stays on. So when i actually try to use my Garmin while on te road, it says “Gps is off” The map doesnt show my exact location, on the main screen on the top left corner, its a red X in the middle of the gps signal . Also if i let it sit for a few secs it goes into demo mode. Anyone know how to fix this problem? contact me please.
