Lamborghini Launches Aventador J – 2012 Geneva Motor Show

www.facebook.com The Lamborghini Aventador J (pronounced “Yoh-tah”) is the most uncompromising super sports car of Lamborghinis’ entire history. Created by the Centro Stile Lamborghini, it represents a “manifesto” of both unconventional design and technological innovation which further consolidates the unique positioning of Lamborghini in the automotive and luxury industries. The Lamborghini Aventador J is a radically open automobile conceived as a “barchetta”: in place of the classic front windshield there are two small wind deflectors, which make it the lowest car ever made by Lamborghini. This requires that drivers of the Aventador J must have the right equipment for driving at top speeds higher than 300 Km/h. I got a GPS receiver and logger for Christmas. It’s a GlobalStar DG-100.

More on this later.

This map shows a bike ride around the neighborhood. I mistakenly set the device to only record points every 5 seconds. Obviously, in a bike, car or train, you can go far in 5 seconds and the route won’t match the road.
