Question by : How can I size a Water Softener for an automotive plant steaming system?
I’ve determined that the entire system uses 3/4 gal/min of water. We’d like to soften the water to eliminate or at least drastically reduce this problem. Do you have any suggestions on how to size a water softener based on that information?
I’ve tried to find something on google and other search engines but I keep getting solutions based off the number of people in a household and the average about of water they “might” use. That doesn’t suit my needs because I’m dealing with 12 steam boilers that use a combined 0.75 gallons/min.
