Hi , I’m gonna be attending to a tech. school to become an automotive technician and I’m wondering after I graduate, how much money worth of tools do i need to get a job as a automotive technician? (I know that prices vary from brand to brand but I just need approximate cost on them) .. People who graduated from this program and has been working as a automotive technician.. I would really appreciate it , If you could answer this question..

It would depend upon the year of your vehicle. call an auto parts store and they will know.

not ready to drop 2-4 grand on a genisys but I’d like to get probably a code reader with some scanning capabilities.Something updatable with all the cables for the different makes focusing on domestic and asian for,now hoping to spend 3-5 hundred dollars.Lemme know what you think guys,wanna hear from some experienced techs

i have a pro scan plus by matco tools and and when i push the power button the external power indicator flashes but nothing else happends… any ideas whats wrong?

I know they can fetch a lot of money.

any ideas what fetches the MOST money among a lot of common automotive tools? I have A LOT of tools. car business. need to sell a few things to get cash up.

I would go with ebay look at their current prices the same items are getting and see what you can get. I would set some buy it now prices and go with that. Then try craigslist.com
