Information on automotive GPS / mobile mapping systems and notebook GPS software?

Use will be in USA and Canada.

I am looking for a mobile mapping system / GPS system for my mobile office (motorcoach). I have been thinking of possibly a GPS receiver to plug into my notebook and mapping software installed, but it seem it may be too clumsy to use while driving. Any recommendation on software and receiver?

If not that, who makes the better dash system mobile mapper with GPS? It needs to be accurate and have maps up to date, or at least upgradeable.

Automotive Warranty Solutions- telemarketing scam?

I’m sure many of you have received this call. It’s from a 909 number. I’ve received it at work, at home and now on my cell phone. I’m guessing they are dialing every number on the planet. It’s from a company called Automotive Warranty Solutions. I’ve looked them up and from what I can tell it’s a scam. They scam money out of naive people and then never refund their money. This company has been around since 2005. WHY HAVE THEY NOT BEEN STOPPED? Isn’t it illegal to call number after number after number using an automated message? When will the authorities step in?
