Automotive Dms Solutions The Good, Bad And The Ugly!

Well let’s begin with the good since it is the first on the list, there are many CRM solution vendors out there. One good feature that every one seems to share is the incoming 1-800 phone tracking capabilities, any respectable CRM solution will offer this feature of recorded phone call from their targeted 1-800 numbers for advertising tracking purposes. The CRM solution providers often are partnered with a voice over IP solution provider to offer their clients this service. Voice over IP call tracking got to be one of the biggest improvements found in today’s CRM or DMS systems for dealers. Another good feature is sales reporting and performance tracking, almost all of the CRM solution vendors offers some sort of way to track their advertising spending, or sales performance. This can go as far as the best selling model for the month, even export to Excel file format. The last good feature of today’s CRM we are going to discuss here is the ability to manage, transfer lead from sales person to sales person. With different security access levels, a manager can access sales person’s lead and manage and transfer them at his will. This level of sophistication is light years ahead of the older systems.

Now moving on to the bad, or the weaknesses of some of the CRM solutions today! Well one of the biggest draw back of automotive CRM system today is its platform. Almost all of them are web based portal system that is accessed through a browser windows. Here are some of the draw backs of that system, for one refreshment rate, every time you input something through a web site it will load another page to display the result. It will cause major delays between the data transfer and require much more bandwidth to operate. The second draw back of that system is there are different standards between the browsers making it not 100% compatible with all systems. For example the way this portal displays on Internet Explorer 8 is not the same way as Internet Explorer 6. Even worse certain system requires you to go back in time to Internet Explorer 5 to be compatible with them. That’s just to show you when the technology was developed. Third draw back would be security issues, not only the HTML or JavaScript codes will be visible to users, it offers great information for a hacker to break in the system. Things such as the system structure, or vital system file names are all exposed to the naked eye making a web based system more vulnerable compare to a desktop solution.

Ok here comes the ugly, for one the real ugly thing about the automotive CRM systems today is the price tag. After careful research on the market I have found they are all asking from the lowest of $1500 per month to as high as $5000 per month. Not to mention setup fees ranging from $1200 all the way to $10000. In a nut shell these web based systems are lot less sophisticated than Facebook, yet Facebook is free to use. At Dealer Elite CRM solutions we don’t believe in ripping off our clients with ridiculous prices, on top of that we deliver a quality, well tested, desktop solution with $0 setup fees, and very affordable monthly plans at fraction of the cost compare to the competition. Would You Read This Book?Is Good or Crappy?Siriusly?

Okay this is just the first chapter, but tell me if you’d read the rest of it when its finished.

Chapter 1-The Economy
All right, people, lets get all of this economy stuff into perspenctive. The economy is a gotham of problems.
First, the housing economy is just a totally catasrophic/pandamonium powder ceg bomb just waiting to go off.And there is a way to fix it.
Second, the automotive industry is completly baked.Congress doesnt know how to fix it,because they screwed that up too badly, threy gave up on a new solution to fix it.But,(that word But is a big part of the whole point of this book).
Third is jobs. Our country is running out of jobs, which is starting to creat a huge problem. If the Today Show talks about it,its pretty big and needs to be noticed. There’s also a thing that can fix that.
By the way,all the answers to the economy’s problems, came from a text message.

Okay, here are the reasons why the housing econony is a busted record.

There is defenetly not enough money in the bank that the housing economy can go on.Thats why practically every house in the U.S. is worth about 15 to 25 thousand dollars less than its’ origanal price.(So some houses are free!)

Not enough people are looking for homes.

Nobody’s paying thier morgages because they don’t have enough money to.

And here are some reasons why the job market is the way it is.

Too many people have jobs. Not enough people are retiring.

Some of a companys’ employees(mainly execcutive figures) are getting alittle too much pay for for no reason at all.Not even for material things, just to say they have something to fall back on.

And finally, the automotive industries falts in just the a 2008 to 2009 period.

They messed up just by messing up.

Then they totally messed up by asking for 3 trillion dollars to try to fix themselves.(Really, who would need 3 trillion dollars just to fix a national industry.)

By putting out 10 to 15 new models, they are showing that they’re not even using the money that was given to them.

I hope that in the next chapter you understand how the solutions will work…

How do you find a good, and HONEST auto repair shop?

Sorry to discriminate against auto repair shops, but but recently got got swindled…

I have a 2001 Nissan Maxima that I bought about 4 yrs ago with 30K miles on it. It now has 60K miles (not bad for 4 yrs) and I need to give it a check-up – a little rattling in the back / underneath has prompted this.

I live in Chicago, so there are many auto repair shops, but how do I find a good one? Ask friends? Not too many have cars. What about going to a dealer shop? Will that cost more? Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks!

is the nikon n80 a good camera? also, what’s the difference between auto focus and manual focus?

I’m in a basic photo class in school, and am interested in purchasing a 35mm slr. I know there is a difference between auto and manual, but I’m not sure if it would effect my photography. This is my first slr, and am a little leery of purchasing an auto focus without knowing the big differences. thanks=]

What should I look for when choosing a car navigation system (GPS) / What brands or models are good?

I am looking into buying a car navigation system (GPS) but am totally clueless as to what features to look for, as well as what brands/models/prices are “good”. Any advice? Any reputable websites or stores that might also be able to help?

which anti-theft device / car club works best against car thieves? and what are good ways to protect your car?

just curious. i was about to buy this pink car club

http://www.amazon.com/Designer-Steering-Wheel-Anti-Theft-Device/dp/B000F6SO1Q/ref=sr_1_7/103-6854428-0503053?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1188148455&sr=1-7

but then i thought…. maybe the car theft will assume that it’s an idiot girl driver and maybe want to steal it more? i like the pink, but i want it to be practical. here is the other one i would get if i didn’t get the pink.

http://www.amazon.com/Click-Steering-Selling-Anti-Theft-Guarantee/dp/B000G18NL6/ref=sr_1_1/103-6854428-0503053?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&qid=1188148455&sr=1-1

so what do you think? do you think the pink makes a difference?

and what do you think about the car club in general? does it work? does it stall car thieves to the point where they won’t want to steal your car?

also…. what are other good ways to keep your car safe when it is unattended?

i have a honda with a car alarm… a VERY sensitive car alarm and a detachable face plate for my stereo.

thanks!
