Question by : I have a 2004 GTO with a blown auto trans, Can I replace auto with a manual with out changing anything else?
I know I will have to cut a whole for the clutch but want to know if I have to do anything to the engine? Is it as easy as taken the auto trans out and putting in the manual trans?

Answer by Kim P yes BUT! it’s a great big pain in the butt. you will need a clutch pedal right? and then you have to run a cable to the clutch and so on. I would just put it back like it was. it’s not worth the time and money.
