Sony’s new SmartTags take NFC technology to a whole new level. While competitors are still struggling with their launch of NFC as a payment tool, Sony has focused on creating SmartTags. These allow you to program specific tasks that your device performs every time you touch one of them with your device. You can have one SmartTag in your car and program it to launch Navigation, Music, set alert tones to sound and even have Text-To-Speech read your incoming messages. You can later set your a separate Bedroom SmartTag to activate your clock, alarm, Netflix and set your tones to vibrate. The technology is kind of genius in our opinion, so watch the video and share your thoughts about it.
