Are there any car GPS units that should be avoided altogether?
Question by xtremelyeuro: Are there any car GPS units that should be avoided altogether?
I’m looking to buy a GPS pretty soon. I’ve been looking at various different models and they all look pretty good. I’m new to the GPS market and I really don’t know much about them. Are there any GPS units that give really bad directions, are unreliable and should be avoided altogether? If so, which brands/models have a poor reputation for performance?

Well, if it has all the same features as one that costs much more and seems to good to be true stay away, I would say Garmin is my overall favorite though. Good luck =)

Cambridge cops catch Somerville man with heroin, GPS units
Cambridge Police arrested a Somerville man after he was allegedly found with heroin and a bunch of GPS units on Feb. 28. At about 4:33 p.m., Officer Brendan Pasco saw a car driving on Rindge Avenue with no front plate and a red number plate in the back. The car was stopped on Alewife Brook Parkway by the bridge and the driver identified as Manuel Dennis Sheehan, 26 of Somerville.

My friend told me its free, or well included into the total price of the unit but how much a month do they cost?

They just have the cost to buy them from the store. There is no month to month fee
